Advanced Placement Exams (AP exams) are international subject matter exams set at a curricula level for American college freshman.  Organized by the College Board each year in May, AP exams are taken by more than two million students from all over the world.  AP exams are recognized by most prestigious universities.

CTM is designated by College Board to organize AP exams (our six-digit code is 719030). CTM also has a status of designated organization (our four-digit code is 7934) which can receive AP exam results for students just as the University of Oxford or Princeton University or any other university.

How AP Exams Differ from International Baccalaureate (IB)?

AP depends only on the student while IB depends on a time consuming and costly school certification process. For Czech and Slovak public school students, AP exams are the only opportunity to compare their academic accomplishments in global competition and receive an internationally recognized credentials. The other opportunity - IB - is available only to students of elite private schools and is much more expensive.

AP Exams Are Superior to IB because they are:

• the only opportunity for public school students to obtain internationally recognized high school credentials 
• substantially more flexible
• financially more affordable

AP and IB are the only two comparable programs with global reach.
