AP Exam Scores Can Earn Valuable Credit and Placement in College
Universities in the United States and over 60 other countries recognize AP Exams. Students with qualifying AP Exam scores have a better chance in admission and can receive placement credit. This helps them to save money and advance faster toward graduation.
Prestigious European universities recognize AP Exam scores. In some countries, the government sets the AP Exams recognition rules. In other countries, including the Czech Republic and Slovakia, recognition is left to universities.
AP Exam scores are recognized in admission to universities in the United Kingdom (e.g., Oxford, Cambridge), Austria, Denmark, Germany and Holland. Since June 2016, universities in Hungary and some in Poland recognize AP Exam scores. College Board provides details.
