Student’s Experience
By taking the course I wanted to improve my knowledge about Ancient Egypt and learn to applicate it. Thanks to the many exercises, I had an opportunity to not only passively learn the information, but even actively applicate it. After completing one of the eleven modules the discussion with instructor helped me to enhance my understanding of the content. Even though, I studied the course mostly at my pace, I was always supported by my instructor not only when I needed technical help or only the explanation. Furthermore, I appreciate, that the course was in English. As Egyptology is international field, it is good to know technical words in foreign language.
The course introduced me to the history, to basic geography and to everyday life of Ancient Egypt. Thanks to this course, I acknowledge political and economical processes, which are important for understanding the development of this ancient state. As part of the course, I also had an opportunity to study interesting academic works of well-known archeologists.
I enjoyed this course and I recommend this course to my peers, who are also interested about Ancient Egypt.
