Critical thinking is one of the most important skills one can develop, which is why Psychology Basics introduces the study of the human mind and behaviour with a special emphasis on cultivating this ability. And while students learn about a wide scope of psychological concepts, they are always encouraged to ask themselves a simple question: “what does this really mean”? Suddenly, complex ideas become clearer and somewhat more relevant. To additionally support the learning process, the course aims to deepen their levels of processing through varied coursework: students recall new knowledge in quizzes, apply it independently in mini-essays, consolidate it in a collaborative task, and actively evaluate it during virtual discussions. The course therefore lays a great foundation for those planning to enrol in the AP track and/or study psychology at university later. Yet, it needs to be emphasized that it is equally useful for those with different ambitions who simply wish to explore this field out of curiosity.

AP World History: Modern is an introductory college-level modern world history course. Students cultivate their understanding of world history from c. 1200 CE to the present through analyzing historical sources and learning to make connections and craft historical arguments as they explore concepts like humans and the environment, cultural developments and interactions, governance, economic systems, social interactions and organization, and technology and innovation.
The AP exam fee is not included in the course fee.
Students are strongly recommended to study about 10 hours a week to successfully complete the course.

The International Relations course focuses on providing students with an introduction to International Relations theory and practice. It provides some fundamental readings in social sciences and covers a wide range of issues in contemporary International Relations, including development, sustainability, and human rights. The course encourages students to create their own theoretical standpoint on International Relations and critically engage with contemporary research and case studies. 
Students are expected to spend 2 hours of outside study (engaging in readings and completing assignments) per every week of the course.

The History of the British Isles is a brand new online course by CTM which offers a chance to explore a wide range of fascinating topics from Britain’s early history, ranging from the arrival of the Romans to the Norman invasion. Through exploring the everyday life, works of art and literature, deeds of famous kings, saints and scholars, but also through English language itself, the course retells the complex story which laid the foundation of today’s Great Britain and Europe as we know it. By the end of the course, students will learn how to compare and contrast different sources of information, think critically and analyze information in English, acquire knowledge of selected areas of British and European history, and enjoy history.
