This course was A-MA-ZING!!! I´ve learned so many new things about the human body. I´ve understood the most essential body systems and their functions. Everything is very well structured in an understandable way. The lector is always ready to help and support. I really appreciate the connection of theory with reality and practical examples. As everything is completely in English, I feel a strong improvement of my skills. All of the essays and presentations have really paid off.

This course offers a deeper insight into individual body systems, how they collaborate to ensure everything works properly, and it is a great opportunity to try how to be a medical student. After participating in Anatomy and Physiology, I believe I´m very well prepared for my future medical career. I highly recommend this course for everybody, who wonders about studying medicine or is just interested in the human body. Thank you so much for everything, it was really worth it!

I have really enjoyed this course and learned so much from it. It was interesting to learn about the human body, from cells and basic structures to the organs and complex body systems. I feel like I understand a lot more now about how everything works together. What I learned throughout this course also helped me a lot in my regular school classes and even made some of my tests easier since I already learned some of the material. It was nice being able to connect what I was learning here to what I was learning in school.

One of my favourite parts of the course were for sure the collaboration activities. I liked that the course was interactive in a way and gave us opportunities to work with other students. Working as a team made the experience even more fun and it was so interesting to hear different ideas and points of view on the topic.

Overall, I had a lot of fun taking this course. I learned so many new things, enjoyed the lessons and gained knowledge that I know I will surely continue to use in the future. I personally really liked the course. It helped me to understand anatomy and physiology much better than I did before, especially the anatomy of heart that I'd had trouble understanding in the past. Most of all, I liked the creative assignments, like writing the articles, presentations, or describing the journey of food in the digestive system. It was fun to look at the topic from other perspective. I also memorised things better this way. When I asked my classmate who has type 1 diabetes about his own experience, during making the first collaboration article, I was surprised by how much it actually affects complicates the life of a patient. I'm grateful that thanks to researching this topic, I got to talk about it with him more, since I'd otherwise probably never become fully aware of the impact of this disease.

Probably the most difficult of all was understanding the microscopic images in some of the earliest chapters, but even so it took me more time, I managed to make a sense of it in the end.

I was also surprised by many things I learned within this course, especially in the embryology chapter, about the Foramen ovale, ductus arteriosus, and ductus venosus. It was truly fascinating and it surprised me that baby doesn't have functional lungs until it gets born, and most of all, that these openings in the heart close after birth, and not earlier. The way circulation of blood develops in human beings is really interesting.

Thank you so much for guiding me through the course, giving me feedbacks and especially - for always giving me a second chance to correct my mistakes and repeat tests, or fix assignments. It helped me to have a better understanding of the topics I've been struggling with.

I have learned so much throughout the entire course and am very sad that it has come to an end. It met all my expectations and all the assignments were really fun to do as much as learning the material in general. I believe it also certainly enhanced my English skills. I would absolutely pick this course again if I could. I really wish that there had been an AP version of this course or some sort of follow up course with the theme of the human body that a person could take after finishing this one to learn even more. The course was very informational and evenly spaced out, so the information didn't get overwhelming. The due dates were great in motivating me to complete each lesson, but also helped not to get lost in all the different segments. Honestly, this A&P course was intense and a ton of work, but I actually learned a lot. The pace was pretty fast because of how much we had to memorize. The best part was definitely the labs and the 3D visual models. The tests were tough but they were fair and didn't really have trick questions. Overall, it was a stressful class, but it was really rewarding and worth taking if you like science.

Things I liked:
I really liked the arrangement of the course- the division into modules and chapters.
I also appreciated the arrangement of the assessments and exams- it forced me to revise the topics very often and so I could save the information into my “long-term memory”.
Moreover, I liked the format of our assessments- it was usually very interesting and it helped me to find out was I was not sure about.

How was my communication/work with my instructor?
The communication with our instructor was very good. She answered our emails very quickly and was here for us whenever we needed her.
She was also very helpful when we needed some help or we needed the due dates to put off because of some illness or thinks like that.

I really like the structure of the course, there were many various topics included. This course overall gave me a lot of knowledge. I've put a lot of my effort into this. Now, thanks to this opportunity, I understand my body and value myself more, knowing what actually goes on inside, without ignoring it and leaving the processes as something that is normal. I've noticed that we often overlook this fact. I can also show off around my friends with mentioning the processes and propper vocabulary, during a conversation mentioning a part of the human anatomy.

I enjoyed the overall structure of this course, the way it was divided into segments/modules around each topic. All the videos and worksheets included were a creative touch to the courses. Without those, it would have been a lot more of a push, having to read and attempt to understand those processes. I also loved the collabration assesments.

I definitely liked the fact that the course helped me realise that the topic it taught me is the one that I want to dedicate my life to. It may sound a little arbitrary coming from a 17-year-old, but the course showed me whether I enjoyed studying human anatomy or not. I did. I had the most fun doing the assignments that somewhat resembled the ones I’d probably face if I were to be working in the health industry – like the ones where we had to find out how many people there are in a pit of bones (the extra right femur proving the presence of one more person). I had a lot of fun presenting collaborative assessments to the rest of the students – I love presenting stuff! Having more interactions with others like that would have made the course a lot better, in my opinion. Maybe it’s because I’ve spent an entire year attending online school, but I’d enjoy a more interactive course anyway.

I’m extremely satisfied with how the communication with our instructor went – all the responses were very fast and any question I asked was answered.
